Bamboo Blade

Technically bamboo is not wood, so following the rules as they are written you could only use 15% bamboo in a blade.
That said it is a natural product and within the spirit of the rules, so I doubt it would be a problem. I think I remember reading years ago that the ITTF treat Cork and Bamboo as woods, they just havent updated the rules to include them.

There are some bamboo blades in the market. As an example, GYAP, a Chinese manufacturer, produces a number of bamboo blades. You can find some reviews on Chinese tt forums.

I think they are legal.

How is the feel of a bamboo blade?
