Hi, Has someone bought 729 bloom power lately and can give their opinion? Has something changed recently?

I've just bought it after reading so many great reviews and I'm very dissapointed. Almost no tacky at all, very hard to lift heavy backspin and has a dead feeling to it.

Can you guys recommend some tacky rubbers from aliexpress that are actually tacky and you've bought them recently, not 2-3 years ago?

I already have loki rxton 3 pro unpacked, and I'm thinking about buying big dipper, jupiter 3 or battle 2 gold.

Thank you very much😅😅

My Bloom Power is not really tacky but does have good grip. I can lift heavy spin as long as I make good contact with fast acceleration. I did get the Yasaka Bold Dragon and it's much more tacky than the Bloom Power. I would say they're both good but the Yasaka is slightly better on short soft shots to flick/flip. Other than that they're very similar.

It seems most of the more modern Chinese rubbers are more like semi tacky and not like 10-15 years ago when some where like so tacky that it could glue a ball to it really long.

Not sure why that is but I read hurricane is also less tacky than 10-15 years ago.

Kinda interesting that Chinese and euro/Japanese rubbers moved closer to each other, Euro/Japanese rubbers made those slightly tacky hybrids and Chinese rubbers got a little less tacky. Seems to be the demand of the market.

Generally, Chinese rubbers have lost their mid- to long-term tackiness. Glued freshly they are tacky. If you play them for a couple of hours they lose their tackiness but they stay grippy.

Does it really stay tacky also over a period of months?
Not the same way as a rakza z or Pk50. I got a sheet of LAC and use it since december. The tackiness is at least a level below aforementioned rubbers and decreased a little even with protection sheets and cleaning.

Yes, It's my third rubber that supposed to be tacky, but it isn't 😅😅
Also remember that for these Chinese sticky rubbers, the black sheets are almost always significantly tackier than the red sheets, so if you want tacky, get a black sheet.

Has someone played with battle 2 gold or battle 2 provincial blue sponge? Is it any different than bloom power?
Battle 2 pbs 40°
Less tacky than bloom
More control than bloom
Faster than bloom
I had 2 sheets, loved it.
Then I went for national, another world..
Bloom power is really good, but move out of the basement.. is slow compared with b2
Last year i had a sheet of BP, really tacky and really controlled, but B2 is better
