Boosters, what to choose?

If I get this booster I might just apply one layer as a test, the friend applied maybe two or three layers of Seamoon before, so I don't want to go overdose it, I have three BS rubbers, I will test one first, just I have to decide which booster soon.
I would rather just get haifu seammon yellow.

national yellow is the best IMO. regular seamoon is on the first boost. but doesn't really do anything if you try to reboost months later. National yellow works every time.
exactly. ihave two bottles sitting at home rn

Hype is not good enough reason to keep using something. If its too hard for you, get a hybrid.
Well, the hype is good as long the product is really good, for example the Hype about Butterfly products, or DHS or Stiga, people are using and happy, and being a hard rubber is nothing to do about how great it is, i can play with any rubber even a i can play with a sandpaper one, it is just how comfortable and consistent i am using it, for example i tested TWO Tibhar MX-P rubbers, i think on two different blades, with both i didn't like it, and later someone also told me about it and the reason was the thickness of sponge or the hardness, he tried lesser thickness and it was super, and i think when we boost is to make the sponge softer, mainly hard rubbers tend to be more heavier a bit, that is why i feel i don't want a rubber that putting load in my hard or the blade, so H3 isn't any exception, i mentioned that the first H3 i tried before the racket getting stolen it was so so amazing, and i thought maybe a National version BS could be even better, and i still can use and play it just fine but not a keeper compared to other rubbers.

Exactly that is what i will do, i might keep reboosting the rubber, or at least i will reboost them for the second time then see if they will wear off later to replace them or just reboost again if needed, so i better use a booster that i know it will work all the time or making better performance somehow, i believe they are called National version for a reason.

Have you noticed any drop in performance from an opened container compared to an unopened one? I bought the larger bottle (100 ml), but I only change rubbers about every four months, so I’m wondering if it would be better to buy the smaller bottle (60 ml) instead.
I am buying a small volume actually as i know i won't use the larger bottle more often, so i better have less that might last enough long before i need to buy another, i remember with the Seamon bottle i didn't use it for almost 1 year or so and still there is something, i gave it to a friend, so i will just go with small until it is running out rather than buying larger one and it might expire or degrade at some point.

Ok, sounds i can just order the booster then, good pricing i found and i don't want to wait longer until this price offer is gone even for very little $ difference, $2-8 difference is good for me if i buy so many products, i am also ordering a glue with it, maybe something else.

Thank you very much all for help

Hi all, I hereby come to gather some infos on boosters. My Haifu Nat White bottle is almost empty. So I am wondering which one go for.
The list of the booster I am interested to go for.
- Hafu Black ; heard people praising it, and other saying it is rubbish. I see people complaining that it is super hard, no dynamism and the increase speed is so high gear. But other says it is the most efficient, long lasting Haifu.
- Haifu Yellow, adds the most dynamism, soften the most, but people complained that the rubber can become to mushy with case of bottoming out rubber more easily (@Haito ; @victormanriquey )
- Haifu Nat White, previously used, adds speed and dynamism, the rubber is not that softer. I find the effect not lasting more than 2 weeks. Curl not that much the rubber. Works ok on springy sponge like H8-80 (some people complained that haifu made the #80 unpredictable and mushy, did not experience that with white 1 layer).
- Jiechi black/green: I saw this booster on the market, but I have no idea if it works well, last long. The price being similar to Haifu Nat, I expect good product.

One of the guys I know, uses black for reboosting. Putting some life in the rubber without softening it (that much). It does soften it a little, but not that much.

Black softens it the most out of all of the boosters. It's the strongest one for elasticity and for softening. I haven't tried how much maximal softening it can achieve, but I'm sure it's over 9 degrees if you pile it on like 5 layers.

Black is the densest, strongest, most softening and least lasting. It lasts 1 week according to Haifu. I'm sure there is some effect left around week 2, though, but not maximal. The claimed elasticity is +8.5% with 2 layers. It kills the sponge extremely quickly; I got 8 layers out of a Provincial Blue boosting every 2 weeks with 2 layers. I recommend once every month with 1 or 2 layers.

The others are just less or more dense versions, with Seamoon being the least dense. It softens the least, but is also the weakest, so you will need to apply it more, and the maximum effect is lower than Black, and you can probably expect 3-4 weeks out of it. The claimed elasticity is +6.0% with 2 layers. Boosting two layers once per month seemed comfortable and sponge was still normal after 2 months.

Probably if you care about the elasticity / softening ratio, then black "softens the least" although in my experience it seems kinda linear. Black probably has a higher cap for how much speed it can add.

I haven't noticed there to be any kind of feel difference between any of the boosters and they all show up as identical under spectrometry apart from the dye so I'm inclined to believe it's purely about density per ml for dosage purposes. Haifu has never claimed AFAIK anything about "what gear" the speed is increased in or how "dynamic" they are, that's completely a fabrication by sellers and probably reinforced by placebo.

If you want the strongest effect, Black. White is one step below. Seamoon-II is claimed to be one step below. Yellow is one step below. Seamoon is one step below.

Thanks, if the black last the least, i won't go for that one. Maybe keep the white. Have you tried Jiechi booster? I saw somewhere it lasts Months.

I've only used Haifu.

The claim for Jiechi is it increases elasticity +20%. If that's true, I expect more like one day, but realistically probably under 4 hours. Needless to say that claim is not true unless they measured it at 1m/s or maybe 1mm of deflection, lol. The delta gets smaller with more force AFAIK.

There's no oil booster that lasts more than maybe 4 weeks but that's likely pushing it. Jiechi seems to claim 30 days, I don't believe that.

FWIW Haifu claims 1 week, Dianchi claims 10 days. Those are more realistic. You will still have a bit left after of course, I can still kinda feel Haifu after 2 weeks.

Maybe some that use a different mechanism could last longer but I'm not familiar; the manufacturers seem to have methods to make tension last 2 months or so. I don't believe anything out of a bottle can do that.
