Why is it forbidden by ITTF? Deeper informations about that Blade? Own experience? Feeling? Compared to other blades?

The Kreanga was discontinued (and replaced with the Ishlion) because of the coating. It was way too thick and therefore violating ITTF rules (Technical Leaflet T4, page 2, subsection "Blade")
There are quite some blades that have a coloured/laquered top ply, such as the DHS N301 (https://www.tabletennis11.com/other_eng/dhs-hurricane-301-national-ch-pen), but it is more subtle and the grain of the wood is still visible...

You have an interesting collection of blades by the way...not easy to get nowadays.

My passion is about special or rare Butterfly Blades with a history. Interesting to chat about it and read new things about it.
