Hello,
A little question about the setup Butterfly Tenergy 05 hard forehand and Dignics 09c backhand (used by Lim Jong-hoon, Lin Yun Ju…).

Why do they prefer using a softer sponge on forehand (43) than backhand (44) ?

Probably the topsheet more than the sponge. 09c holds the ball longer, so more forgiving of small bh timing mistakes. T05H releases the ball more quickly, so easier access to power while still being great for close to the table countering.

I always found this unusual as well.

found t19 to be a hidden gem, like a d09c with a softer feeling and more speed. gives you more spin than 09c if you put the work in.

Also like t19 for bh, but I get more spin out of 09c while having to work a little harder for it. More gears, too.

Pros are one thing but for us amateurs it makes sense to have easier short game on backhand and easier opener on forehand. Thus: hard bh-rubber, softer forehand-rubber.
