Anyone here crazy brave enough to put on Z03 2.7mm on Jun Mizutani Super?

Highly ranked coach and player Looelooe did, but is now going to slower despite liking the setup. I intend to put it on LYJ SZLC one day.

• My partner is using long-pips.

Man.. people in here putting Zyre 03 on a SZLC's is really beyond me.. even most pros went to a slower blade to accommodate to Zyre (or am i wrong?) . Anything faster than normal alc and zyre for me for anyone at our level is probably not doing us any favours..
On this topic.. anyone tried it on Ovtcharov Alc? Wonder if the double limba will make Zyre feel with more dwell (and it being inner fiber)? I do know the blade plays pretty much like outer alc - speed wise, but still?

Wheres the guy contemplating Zyre on his Acoustic from earlier in this thread? If i still had mine I'd try it out, I'd imagine u could get some rdiculous arcs.

Zyre 03 is a direct rubber so no wait high arcs.

Anyone that do chop blocks or any sidespin pushes with Zyre, how is it? I do like to do chop blocks on slow spinny balls to my bh and with zyre i find i can keep them lower and maybe spinnier, but def find it easier with zyre than my D80 which is weird to me.. could it betha the higher grip helps? Or the harder sponge and catapult on this shot isn’t activated?

Chop block - ain’t got that in my locker!! Side spin pushes - are ok, no real difference from previous rubber, longer BH side swipes (aka Lind) with top or back spin are a little harder, but workable if you choose the right ball.

Forget to mention a little while back, I put Z03 on Darker Speed 90 and it is not compatible. Too stiff with too little dwell. Ball can’t really spin and it is basically a flat drive and pray!

So you are not using the most dangerous gear of the rubber...

technique, some rubbers have a high throw, some a low throw, just because a ‘standard’ stroke produces a low or high trajectory doesn’t mean that the opposite isn’t possible. I just don’t like it when people say something isn’t possible when it is. To say I don’t use the most ‘dangerous gear’ is wrong, yes Z03 is fast and penetrating, when I choose to go for it my FH loop is pretty good. When I choose to play a loop slightly differently I can produce a higher arc.
