Basically, glue only blade, wait 20 minutes to dry, roll long pips on from the bottom to top, then cut.

I realise its easy for some people and I've seen and glue so many regular rubbers and like 50% or more of the time I mess up a bit lol. I'll just let the shop glue it for me

First of all it depends what level are going to play. If it is just for try, then take 388d OX which is cheap and easy to play.
If you want to stick with IT then probably you need to change your blade sińce it is too soft and you will not get much backspin
