My friend is an older player who plays partially as a defender but also attacks with VERY spinny loops.

He played at an extremely high level at the world championships as a veteran with a particular rubber RITC 729 Friendship TackSpeed 2000 1.0 mm

The difference between this and rubber is really noticeable in his game and he has been trying to find these rubbers for ages.

But only thicker versions are available and other 1.0 mm rubbers like the Tuttle rubber and others are just not as tacky.

Does anyone know where he can get this exact rubber?

Are there any unused sheets about?

He is in his 70s and getting this rubber would mean the world to him - he is saving his 7 year old rubber in the fridge for championships and getting some new ones after years of trying to buy it would mean the world to him!

I have no idea where to find this rubber in 1.0mm, but there are other rubbers that might work...?
Pimplepark - Bloxx is available in 1.4mm
Pimplepark - Epos is available in 1.0mm
Palio - CJ8000 Spin is available in 1.5mm
Hard to find the correct sponge thickness and elasticity of the top sheet, but these would be my suggestions.

There is nothing to prevent you from making your own rubber /sponge combination. Factory will supply a thin sponge you please, on request.
