I want to buy a table tennis racket for a beginner, who has played actively for about 2 years 1-2 times per week. I dont know my playing style. I am in china so i will be buying from there, though i will return to Europe soon. I understand that Chinese rubbers are typically different from Euro style so maybe I’m looking for something that is more Euro but still Chinese brand since it’s very cheap, if that exists. I only had stiga 4 star pre assembled before. Shake hand grip.
Im looking for either pre assembled or something i assemble myself. It should be an all round racket. I’ve considered Palio Expert 3.0, but aside from that, the recommendations I have found are so diverse that I am just left confused.
My coach (in Europe, where i live) recommended Butterfly Primorac, Yasaka Mark V and Xiom Vega Europe 2 mm, but i dont know if it suits me (this was her general recommendation, I play in a student uni club and everyone are beginners). I don’t know whether there are any Chinese counterparts to these.
I understand that coaching matters more than equipment but rackets are cheap here in china so figures I would try to get something before I head back.
My budget would be about 50 USD for one racket - for these brands you can assume 50% cheaper compared to US prices maybe.
Do you have some suggestions especially ones that are chinese brand?
