Recently had a nasty torn flexor tendon in my ring finger, had surgery and now have a scar on the middle of the finger.

Finally try to get back on the table. Every time I try to grip the handle tight, it press on the scar and cause pain. Worse when I serve and change my grip for rallies or from fh to bh grip. Probably by reflex I loosen the grip due to pain and now it slows down my transition time.

I wonder anyone here have any similar issues or have any suggestions for finger sleeve product or grip tape. Ideally rather put something on my finger as I'm not the biggest fan of grip tape, but if need be im willing to give them a try

Sorry to hear about your injury, here's hoping the pain will go from it soon.

I use this rubberises self-adhesive bandage wrap on my handle. It sticks to itself once you get the first overlapping layer. It's very thin so I get great grip without losing too much feeling imo.
As its rubberised and stretchy it has a softness to it (softer than regular tennis style grip wraps) so maybe wrapping 3 or 4 layers will make it soft enough so you don't feel so much pain?
Worth a shot I reckon.

It's very, very light
I just weighed a full roll (4.5m) and its only 26g so the 15cm I use on my handle can't be more than 0.1 g
A few more wraps for you and yous still at 0.3g max so weight wise it's pretty negligible

Sorry to hear of your injury.
After far more many surgeries and physical therapy sessions than I'd like to recall, I can share some of my experience. My DPT used in office - and had me get for home use - Mederma scar gel, combined with lots of gentle massage of the scar tissues to help break them down/spread them out.

I had to deal with neuropathy as well, but I imagine these other steps may help with your sensitivity, too:

We had bowls of stuff that I would sink my hand in and move around, then as tolerance built up began to squeeze and manipate to help desensitization. Started with cotton balls, then rice, dried beans, etc.

Best wishes for as full recovery as possible!

The hand bit of my injuries was to my non-dominant side. I had much bigger obstacles to overcome before I could get back to the table.

That said, the Mederma and massage did help make the scars less pronounced much more quickly than prior ones. And yes, though my nerve damage was severe enough that even cotton balls caused agony at first, over time I was able to lessen the sensitivity quite a bit.

Best wishes for your recovery!
