Yes, it is an interesting innovation of how to honour the most famous players. It is now reported TIBHAR fostered Alex Lebrun very much. No doubt, the graphical logo on the prospective rubber should be as follows 🤓

What logo should we apply for Wang Chuqin, for Lebesson, for Waldner? Give your thoughts here.

Wasn't there a Donic Coppa JO Gold back in the 2000s? Igor is so outdated or senile recently.

Be happy.
he is getting there
took a year to get to Moregard
a 2000 rubber, might take few more years
be happy

You're obviously a young padawan, I've used the very first rubber named for Waldner after his Barcelona 92 win

Only Nittaku made them after ESN came in the business.

(Mind you... I've also been using Banda Coppa rubbers in the 80's, it was the best selling rubber because of Waldner and Persson)

Oh wow nice one. I wasn't around yet at that time 😅
I suppose Banda back then was a proper band not some Stiga subbrand like now. But still it's interesting that Coppa was a Banda product then it became Donic and now Banda is basically Stiga.

Exactly, Stiga and Banda were separate brands, and some Banda products have been scattered between Stiga and Donic following the contracts Waldner and Persson signed with Donic. The Coppa made in Japan in the 90's went to Donic, following Jorgen Persson who was using it.

The Waldner and Persson blades were also rebranded under Donic, Banda disapeared until Stiga bought back the brand.

It happened many times in many different industries in the 90's and 2000's, I remember SWR being bought by Fender Musical Instruments Company, Fender so, and then... SWR disapeared, no products. But the name, so the brand, is owned by Fender still. They did the same with Genz Benz, but then Jeff Genzler took the years FMIC imposed to him with a non-competition clause to bring back a new brand with new products, Genzler.
