Yep saw aloot of reviews saying the same thing but they also said it lacks spin is that true?

Spin is quite decent. Of course is less than tenergy. But the grip is very good for a BH rubber. I often struggle to keep the ball low because if the strong grip.

Bear in mind your 1.7mm Rasant Beat won't grip the ball as well as my 2mm. Therefore I would say the spin would be great with 1.7mm thickness. But the advantage is more control of course.
