What happened to the Andro Blade and rubbers you were using?
Keeping it as a backup for now, I just couldn’t find the feeling I liked on FH with N55 and prefer H3. Will switch it eventually once I have money lol

What backhand rubber would be best for the blade? I'm using fastarc g1 rn and its great but its starting to break. Just trying to find a new rubber
Hi
I also using g1 on bh and I love it. I recently tried also Stiga Mantra Pro Hard anf found it very similar just little faster but not un controlled
You can by it on aliexpress very cheap and it is genuine
by the way what FH rubber di you use?

HI, can anyone who played with HL5 and King ACB, can compare the two plz ? I am mostly a FH player, i disliked the Viscaria, could not do my FH kill shot. I came from Fang Bo carbon, to Viscaria, but I miss the Headweight of the DHS. And I can find that in HL5 or King ACB. Funny enough, i lose it on the BH too without the headweight of the DHS. I heard great on the FH for the HL5, but bad on the BH side. The King ACB could be the best of both world. Also, the Viscaria is too dynamic, miss control of my Inner Fang bo carbon.

I currently use both a national w968 and ACB so take with a grain of salt as I've only used a commercial long 5 and don't own one.
- The ACB is actually much more balanced compared to long 5/968/Bo which are very head heavy.
- The handle on the ACB is also thicker than fang bo/w968 (unless you have a provincial fat handle w968/golden slam 968).
- The ACB has a faster first ball contact speed then long 5.
- 968/long 5 has better dwell and kick on FH loops for sure.
- BH on long 5 is harder/requires good stroke if you use H3 but its easier if you put something like 09c/05/faster rubber
- IMO the arc on the ACB is flatter than both vis & long5/968 especially if you get a stiffer acb with a low rebound % (etc 60%)

Thanks. I may have misunderstand. You just tested the commercial HL5, but never owns it right?
The less head heavy thing kinda scares me. I am really used with it, and it is the main struggle with my Viscaria. I did put some sponge on the head, to be more headheavy, but apparently it is illegal (and ugly). I think, also, i lack control with outer carbon. That is why i am thinking of switching back to a DHS blade, with head heaviness.
On the backhand, i used H3 NEO 37, H8-80 and Vega X. All of them have quality, and drawback. BTY rubber are too expensive for something that last 2/3 months.

I think, for a FH oriented player, the HL5/968 is a go to, but the king ACB makes me wonder if it could fit. I am mostly (only) doing topspin, i never knew how to hit the ball without spin. I suck at blocking too, so my game as been built arroun 3rd ball attack, and FH topspin. I can spin a lot with the BH too, I have a big BH (not just the wrist, but a huge movement), and if confident and placed correctly, I can send a huge topsin, like a terminal shot with it (kinda like a single hand BH from regular Tennis). But i struggled with that shot since the Viscaria. I allways come back to the Fang Bo carbon, but there has been tear off with time, and it needs change.

Yes I've played with hl5 a couple times but own a w968. Between those 2 I found my 968 to be a lot more powerful but less flexy (might be because normal hl5 is ~5.9mm but my 968 specifically is 6.09mm).

The ACB I personally would say is balanced enough that I wouldn't call head heavy anymore, more similar to a butterfly blade than your 'dhs head heavy' blade. Honestly if you put boosted H3 and H8-80 on BH leaving a bit more on the cutting it's a very heavy rubber set and the ACB would probably be more head heavy.

If you're confident in your BH and are willing to do a full stroke to get a quality shot you'll be fine with a long 5/968. FH don't need to explain, the 968 just has the best FH quality you can output if you do a proper stroke.

Blocking is personally a lot easier on the ACB as it has a bit more rebound speed but also has more linear stability due to the koto & blue alc, whereas my 968 is much more non linear even when blocking - can feel a bit slow passively blocking on bh yet sometimes the ball flies when the blade decides to activate lol

Thanks, well I tried Viscaria with heavy rubber, did not like the balance anyway. I think I might stick to the HL5. I will develop full shot with the BH, I don't block much in game, just an area i would like to improve. And the not so much head heavy kinda scares me.
Thanks for the answer.
