What is the best choice?

What hardness and thickness of rubber should I use? Which Chinese rubbers match them? (I like a lot of spin 😅)

I've tried both and honestly they're both great. PG7 pairs well with sticky rubbers and gives lots of opportunity for creating heavy spin. Still, you can still hit the ball quite hard.

My brother uses 729 Yellow ALC with pips on the backhand. Spin generation with the yellow ALC is harder, but you can really smack the ball very fast with only a little bit of effort. This racket feels very solid and thick in your hand, and I have to say I really like the handle.

If you prefer a spinny game, I think PG7 is the better option.

I'll take the PG7 (the best choice for me). I was thinking of using it with H3 Neo or Skyline 2. Do you think it will go well with a Skyline 2??

Whats your current blade?
If this is your first custom racket, get the sanwei fextra 7 85-90 grams. It's similar to the pg7 but a little softer, better dwell and spin.

The Fextra and good rubbers for it were already recommended to him in his first thread when he asked about getting a premade DHS which turned out to be a bust. I think he really wants something DHS.

You forgot to mention that the Fextra has a better handle for men's hands, as the PG7 is uncomfortably thin for most. :)

I think you got it wrong... I had no interest in buying that pre-made of the first thread, and I'm not tied to any brand. DHS is just the easiest and most cheap to find for me. (with good suppliers on aliexpress)

I think it will go well with Skyline 2, but I really like Skyline 2 so I am biased. I am also a penholder, and Skyline series was made for penholders (Hurricane series was made for handshake players). Skyline 2 is definitely spinnier than Hurricane 3, and it offers more control in the short game. You could try doing Skyline 2 on one side and Hurricane 3 on the other side.

I'll research and think about it! I saw it weighs 85-95G (FL/ST). is it possible to change the weight?
You can ask the vendor to give you a heavier or lighter blade, depending on your preference. You might not get exactly what you want, but usually they will try to accommodate you.

Yeah, this is true. I found the handle to be a bit uncomfortable, but I am 195cm with big hands. I think for most people the handle is fine, but if you have big hands you might want to consider a different blade. Another alternative is to wrap the handle with grip tape, to make it thicker.

I thought so too. Use h3 on the forehand and Skyline 2 in the back. I will decide...

Thanks a lot for the help!

Not trying to be confrontational, but you can hardly blame me for assuming you had bought the DHS 4002 since your profile shows this:

You're being quite inconvenient... If you're not going to help by answering people's questions, it's better not to answer them!

As I said, DHS equipment is just easier and cheaper to find for my location (the famous cost benefit) And I'm already familiar with the brand, but I'm not tied to it.
