Previous blade: Stiga Offensive Classic (5ply allwood)

Current Blade: Sanwei HC-1S (Inner, 5+2 ALC with a Hinoki top)

Feel actually feels quite the same for the short game, maybe a tad bit stiffer for service.

the difference mostly is when hitting strong or blocking strong shots, when you penetrate and reach the ALC it feels a lot more stiffer and stable especially far from the table.

I also have a 729 Blue (Outer, 5+2 ALC) but it's too stiff for me and my game so i don't use it too much outside of testing.

Feeling is noticeably different. ALC dampens vibrations even in inner construction. Regular 5 ply woods are simply not as aggressive as outer ALC, and inner ALC are less aggressive than outer but still offer better support and improved sweetspot over 5 ply wood.

Inner ALC blades feel like all wood in short game and like outer carbon when you put full effort in, at least for myself. Outer ALC felt too out of control for me and all wood too slow
