g1 has less catapult, and is much easier to control, especially in shortgame. its more like tenergy 05

d05 is alot faster and also spinnier. also much more bouncy, the catapult kicks in early. hard to control in passive play, need active strokes all the time. g1 is more forgiving by a lot

both are great rubbers. if you still have any parts in your game where you feel like you need to work on your technique, take g1.

these two rubbers also have the best durability available on the market imo

Ny experience differ slightly.
I think one of the benefits of D05 is the easy short game and service recieve. G1 is a little softer and hence bouncier and that makes sloppy openers easier but the short game and passive play suffers.
G1 is slower, away from the table a lot of balls end up in the net. It is however easier to land shots close to the table.
The hardness of D05 makes follow up shots harder to control. And you need more precise angles. Otherwise you'll shoot over or net-out.

But both will be great for a lot of players. Just get used to one and keep playing!

And bang for the buck...? Well... that one is easy.

Exactly my thoughts. It's weird that experiences with Dignics 05 are so different. In my experience it is not bouncy at all but very controllable in the short game and serve receive. Maybe it plays completely different on fast and hard blades?
