I just tested around these 2 rubbers on a mate's rackets. It was D05 on LGY alc and T05 on Carbanado 290.

Butterfly lists D05 as faster, but from my hitting, i found the Tenergy was quite a bit faster. Which rubber is really faster? Is the blade what is making the T05 seem faster?

it has been said many a times that rubbers can only be compared when used on an identical blade. Used on 2 different blades itis like comparing apples with oranges

Right, that's why I'm asking for clarification. For somebody who has more extensive experience with these 2 rubbers on the same blade, which one is objectively faster?

I think by asking other players, even very experienced ones , you will have to
consider that there will ALWAYS be a certain subjectivity. 😁

Maybe somebody has taken two identical blades, glued the rubbers on and done some research with high speed cameras, robots, radar equipment etc.
This might give a close result.

I recently watched this reviewer talk about how hand feeling for each person is different as well as how they glued and other factors.

perhaps in your case, it WAS faster, but like mentioned you wouldn’t really know unless you had a side by side comparison (even then, there is still variance)

Three factors here:
1. D05 topsheet is slightly more tacky than T05
2. D05 sponge is harder than T05
3. Carbonado 290 is VERY hard and fast. Faster than LGY ALC.

In light to medium impact, the D05 setup is likely slower. But if you do power loop far from the table, the D05 setup might be faster.

A brand new tenergy is faster than a brand new dignics. After 2~3 weeks when tenergy booster effect is gone dignics is a tat faster.
