DISRUPTIVE LONG PIMPLES CLOSE TO THE TABLE

Hello,

I have not notice any similar topics related to directly disruptive long pimples for people who play close to the table so i've decided to create one

Here We can share our thoughts about the best pimples, or about the one u like the most in terms of close to the table gameplay

Maybe there are some pimples we don't know about and they are really good? let's see!

I'll start:

Pimples close to the table I've used this year

Yinhe Neptune Pro II - crazy spin reversal and control

Donic Piranja - big deception & wobbles

Yinhe Leilei Anti Master - very controlable pimples, paired most likely on fast blade

Grass d tecs - for me those pimples aren't that good as everyone says, technique for chop blocks must be on point and for attacks they aren't the best one.

Yinhe Neptune Pro 1 - worst one from the list, don't recommend to anyone

Yinhe Neptune 1 is worst one in your opinion ? I use it on my all-wood 5-ply blade and close to table and in my opinion they work great. Great control for pushing and chop-blocking. Not to mention 0.7 mm version, for me at least, is good for classic defense. Although it depends a lot on the blade itself too.

...Yinhe Neptune, in my opinion xD
Very cheap and on 5 ply all-wood blade with 0.7 mm sponge version, great for practising chopping and pushing if you want to learn or play for fun

If u don't want to invest lot of money for the setup, I would recommend cheap all blade or even def blade paried with some cheap lp, Dawei 388d-1, Palio CK531A

Palio ck531a is cheap but I didn't think it was easy. Monkey was easy but not cheap 🤷‍♂️

Ive been watching alot of WRM videos talking about Monkey. I am really itchy to try that rubber but that price is not justifiable for trying out😫😫😫

A slow long pips could do the trick for you. What LP have you used and what are you currently using?

Neptune is very good for classical defense far from the table, for close to the table there are more better LP.

About easy to use all depends your skills, if you are great using LP to attack you don't like slow LP & if you aren't great to attack will be better slow LP, so all depends players skills.

If you ask me: I believe LP are for defense, if I want to attack there are short pips (close to the table blocks & fast attacks) or better inverted that you can do all the gears if you have all skills.

Looking videos always you see one person with high skills, you have to decide if the LP in particular are good for your skills & strategy.
