One of my clubs has just bought some Donic 3 star P40+.
Now i am not a "ball-snob" and happily play with anything .
After a couple of hours with this new ball i found that I need much more energy to make speed and spin with this new ball.
Of course this is just a "feeling'' and it is personal and impossible to put any numbers on it
As numbers go, I took one of the balls home and measured it against my al-time fav the "El cheapo crappo" orange HUIESON 3 star training ball.
Both balls weigh 2.5 grams
but there is a difference in the circumferences, measured on the seem and opposite.
The Huieson measured 40.29mm / 40.20mm
the DONIC " 40. 12mm / 40.10mm
so the donic is smaller but rounder.

Can anybody give me some input ?
Does anybody else feel that it needs more power to the get the beasty to perform ? It is of cause 4 times the cost of the el cheapo ball.
both are made in china.
thanks for your input.

I am curious, also.
Are they similar (same factory) to Andro, Gewo and Tibhar?

I played with this ball for a few months last year.

In my experience, this ball is the spinniest compared to DHS D40+ 3***, Double Fish WTT 3***, and Yinhe Seamless 3***. I could make sidespin serves that jumped to the side like crazy. Looping backspin balls with this ball was the hardest, as you needed way more power and the exact right technique to make the shot; otherwise, it would go straight to the net because of the high amount of backspin. On the other hand, the speed of this ball was noticeably lower than DHS and Double Fish balls.

However, this ball had a main problem in my experience: the height of its bounce didn't seem right to me. The ball did not get high enough after contacting the table.

Also, this ball felt soft and light in my experience.
