I was thinking about changing my bh rubber. I currently use Bluefire M2 but I think it's a little too fast. So can someone please compare Donic Baracuda and Jp02. I play from mid distance but I like to cut close to the table. I also like blocking.

I think between the two JP02 may be more similar to M2 Than Baracuda, but I havent used JP series so I can't comment on that. If you play from mid distance but think M2 is too fast, the slower Baracuda may feel better to you, but one of the things that is good about M2 is that it is not so spin sensitive, so you may feel like Baracuda has more bite than you'd like.

Donic Barabuda is good. It has a good spin to speed ration. Don't worry about it being slow. Only wimps can't compensate for the speed. Currently I have Donic Baracuda and 802-40 1.8mmmounted on a Samsonov Alpha ( all wood ) paddle. It plays well. Much better than I do.

Last season I played with Barracuda on my bh. It is very rewarding to play any kind of spin shots. Speed is relative thing for all of us and I find it fast, way faster than with the old ball. Smash, counter and blocks are easy and very efficient. The rubber doesn't have factory tuning so its durability is fantastic. I usually put one two layers of booster to flatten even more the throw
