I believe BlueGrip is significantly heavier, and a bit grippier. I play with Bluestar A2 and have previously used BG C2.

C1 and C2 are Chinese style Hybrids, very hard sponges and I wouldn't recommend them if you don't have a strong swing. That being said, you can achieve crazy shot quality with these rubbers if you can juice them properly

A1 is a Euro style hybrid, easier to activate than C series but less spin quality when you are really going at it. A1 is more lively than C series so it requires a bit more care in handling around the table. I think this rubber does everything pretty well, it is very versatile while still offering high shot quality. A1 is still pretty hard and you need a decent swing to reap the benefits, but I can imagine the softer versions play quite nicely as well. I have not tried A2 or A3 long enough to form an opinion

i tried all three versions and played with a1 for one season but will actually switch again.
as @Scarfed Garchomp wrote they differ very much. the topsheet of A series is softer and the sponge is more porous and softer overall. it feels like an easier to play and more durable version of rasanter c series. you get the dwell time not by the stickiness or topsheet but the sponge like tensor rubbers. it has a lot of dynamic and it's pretty fast even without a fast swing. but if you do have a fast swing then it will not cancel the opponents spin, so you will always need to adjust the angle when you counter. that is the best thing about bluegrip and other more chinese leaning hybrids, that they suck when you aren't able to commit but if you do accalerate then you can crush trough every spin.
