Donic Skachkov Carbon

Yeah, but I haven’t had the chance to compare them one-to-one, especially with the same type of rubbers.

I can say for sure that the shape is different — this applies to both the ST handles and the blade head in general.

I suspect the Skachkov will have a slightly crisper feel.

I also have Donic Original True Carbon now (outer). And I think I like Skackov more.
Thanks, this Skachkov Carbon I added to my list anyway as it seems interesting even I normally use inner-type blades. The look of the handle is also really nice

It’s definitely a great and quite unique blade (in terms of shape and softer feel). Try to find one around 87 grams. I have four different blades: 81, 87, 87, and 91 grams — and I like the 87-gram versions the most (which is why I bought a second one). They feel the most balanced, especially if you use heavier rubbers.

By the way, there’s now a Skachkov Inner Carbon blade as well. My friend uses it, and it’s a very controlled version of inner-type blades. He prefers inner blades, so it suits his style better than the Skachkov Carbon — but it’s softer and slower.

I just received this blade in 87 gram. I like a a thick/full handle, and I am disappointed about the handle. The handle is normal in size. Thickness is around 22,5 mm at thumb and close to 24 at the end. Its not very small, but its definitely not for big hands. F.ex. The Tibhar Libra Zodiac sac handle is thicker/ feels fuller. Im not sure if i will glue rubber to it or try to sell it?
