I’m looking for new, budget-friendly rubbers, around max 15 euros per sheet. I borrowed a setup from a friend — Yinhe N10S with Mercury II Soft — but this combination feels too bouncy for me. The ball pops up very high after the opponent’s serve, and I lose control.

I’d really appreciate some recommendations for slow, very controllable, and spinny Chinese rubbers (from brands like Yinhe, Sanwei, 729, Kokutaku, Reactor), since I’ll be ordering from AliExpress.

I’ve never played with Chinese rubbers before, so I need something user-friendly and beginner-friendlyto start with.

I’m returning to table tennis after a 15-year break — I would say I’m at intermediate level now. I used to play with a premade paddle (Atemi 2000).

I already have Yinhe N11s and Yinhe Uranus U2 blades, and I’m looking for rubbers that would match well with them.

I'd say DHS Hurricane 8-80 on forehand black 37°+ an Long Pips OX on the backhand it's less than 15 bucks overall on Aliexpress, maybe a frictionless anti top like Luka Mladenovic for the same strategy, and for blade something ALL+/OFF- all wood.

EDIT: ok for the Sanwei Fextra 5, but I've coached and train a guy very similar to you and the long pips OX helped him overperform vs better rated players in tournaments. Some people hate them because "you will never learn how to get a proper backhand blah blah blah" but in my case I prefer developping a guy that knows its limitations like you told us, and help him reach new heights.

Palio Energy 03 and Palio AK47 Blue on both sides! Energy 03 is 9 layer with 5 being wood and 4 being soft carbon. It has the control and feel of wood, but when you hit harder the soft carbons activate to give more speed and power. A lot of people claim AK47 to be too speedy for them, but don't let that shy you away. Personally, I've found that AK47 adapts to the blade and on Energy 03 it pairs very well. It's very much an all-rounder with good control, spin, and power without being too less or too much. AK47 Red is harder sponge and has more speed and power but a lower throw angle. AK47 Yellow I did not find anything really good about it. AK47 Blue is softer sponge and a little higher throw angle than Red; I feel the most confident and the speed and power is well enough for intermediate level.

I’m looking for a first custom paddle ( blade + rubbers) on AliExpress (switching from ATEMI 2000).

Play style: All-round, slightly offensive. Strong forehand (attack, counter), weak backhand (need control/learning). Mostly close to the table, sometimes defend.
Experience: 5 years casual play,I am experienced beginner, but i am not professiona
Budget: $50–60 total.

Never tried Chinese rubbers — maybe start with easier ones to get used to? Please recommend me blade + rubbers.

Thanks!
You can find a lot of new blades with rubbers pre- glued on Polish facebook table tennis groups :

Yasaka bold dragon
Yinhe W-6 or Yinhe U spin
Or something around 20$ but faster blade because yasaka is very spinny but slower than classic tensor.
And backhand rubber

Something 35-37-38 degree
Tuttle g20 president green or blue is probably the best rubber on aliexpress, super user friendly, super spinny with great touch and easy to chop ball.
For me its like dignics 09c ~10% less spin and 10% less demanding.

Glue
sueke or suke
