hey guys, so i have been playing with fastarc g1(fh) on my fzd alc for half a year now. It's great, but sometimes it feels like its missing that catapult/speed effect and the excess grip sometimes causes the ball to hit the net when far away from the table if i don't make a complete swing. In short I'm looking for something with more catapult and speed without sacrificing the grip, spin and durability elements of g1. I was thinking of going with p1 next but I'm not sure if it would suit my blade. Need guidance.

D09C would be a suitable choice if you can get use to hybrid rubbers. Very high arc, spinny, relatively fast, and of course is the most durable BTY rubber in the Dignics and Tenergy series.
Dignics is WAY harder to play and consistently activate.
If the op said he wanted something better for the short game, then I would understand this advice, but since he wants something overall faster and easier to activate speed I would propose the Nittaku Genextion. Faster speed, similar Spin, very grippy

alright thanks and what about fastarc p1 or xiom vega pro?

You might even consider trying short pips. Friendship 802-40 (the black package version with soft sponge) is very bouncy, and it's very fast since most of the energy you use gets turned into speed, rather than spin.

Another option, if you want spin, is Hurricane 3 boosted heavily. That will feel very catapult-y. D09c will be similar to this, but harder to control and with a higher arc.

so guys i also have the option of xiom omega 7 tour and i heard its really fast, spinny and hard. anyone here using it can give me some leads and if its durable or not?
I believe so but then Xiom Omega 7 Pro would be easier to activate for speed

If you play with Rakza X on bh and like it why not try the faster Rakza XX on fh?
no mate will change to g1 on backhand. X was very linear and had decent speed and spin but really sensitive to incoming spin. not saying it was bad, just didn't really suit my blade.
as for the xx i had a really bad experience; got it for my previous blade and it ended up having a rubber bubble in the middle. apparently the sponge had a minor tear in the middle when i hit hard forehands.

I like Tenergy 19 or Tibhar Evolution EL-D. Both are excellent forehand rubbers that fit what you are asking for. However, perhaps it's the blade? I've had that blad and mine was terrible. They don't all play the same. The FZD ALC that I had felt like a brick. I got rid of that thing. 4 or 5 people around my area have that blade. They aren't all like that. Just something to consider.

hey, did you try playing with it for a month at least? mine was really stiff too in the beginning but the wood did open up after a month of use and now it feels like it has the softest core amongst all alcs with great dwell. I like it now, spin potential and control are really good.
