hey, did you try playing with it for a month at least? mine was really stiff too in the beginning but the wood did open up after a month of use and now it feels like it has the softest core amongst all alcs with great dwell. I like it now, spin potential and control are really good.

I used it for about 3 weeks, but I played about 2 hours every single day. Then, I traded it for another blade. The longer I used it, the less I liked it.

ah well its all about preference, but i had the same feeling in the beginning. now its quite less stiff and grabs the ball really well on soft touches; almost a vicaria clone tbh. in the end though i concluded:
