Good blade for penhold short pips hitter

maybe the 802-40 mystery 3 since it has a softer sponge.

I want to go for the regular 802 so I might just go for the softest 35 degree sponge

I suggest blade being the Yasaka Ma Lin Extra Offensive, and rpb rubber for starters try esp tensor rubbers, medium thick sponge. Maybe try like me Yasaka Rakza 7 2.0mm, or for the arc Fastarc c-1 or maybe To5fx? Not to sure about the last one. Can’t give suggestions for a rubber type I have never played before, for the short pimps.

Other than the Ma Lin Extra Offensive, you can try an all wood blade. We all know about Liu Guoliang using short pimps on a Stiga Clipperd. You can try 1-ply hinoki cpen, for the feeling and extra control.
