Nittaku's Hammond Z2 is getting some rave reviews! Anyone like to pour cold water or just heat up the fire?

It is a very exciting rubber to use, but probably not the easiest rubber to use because of its hardness and low throw angle.

i’ve tried it. felt like i was going back to the 90s with speed glue and 38mm ball.
the rubber is hard and bouncy - great for smashing. old players would love it as it helps with shorter and weaker strokes.

Yes good point, it is very catapulty rubber almost like speed glue. Very intriguing rubber but it would probably be better in a 47 sponge. I think its a little hard to use due to the hardness and also the low throw angle.

In China people say the topsheet is extremely thin, thus brittle. I guess that gives you the incredible feel. There are some reviews in Japanese but don't understand 😓

In just the past week or so, the Revspin reviews seemed to have poured in, with most people very impressed by the rubber. And it still sits high on TT11's best selling rubbers.

I read the reviews, it seems too fast, I think it is quite similar to Quantum X Pro

It seems to have really high grip too. So if it's fast and grippy I would think that's a great combination.

i hope it is some Quantum X pro with spin,cause i can´t deal with the speed of the quantum and low grip.

Well I think 1.8mm sort of defeats the purpose. This rubber is meant to be a monster of power and catapult. It should be played in max sponge I think.
