Has any one heard of peaka pong

My club had a peaka pong tournament as a fundraiser. It was like using a hardbat but it had lots of little holes, games were played to 7, no deuce, and you only got one serve a piece.

Yeah, seems like a niche version of hardbat that someone made up to sell some funky paddles. I'd give it a try, but not when the only way to do so is pay $25 for what looks like a reused paddle that was modified in someone's garage.
