Hello guys,

I wonder if anyone has tried the Nittaku Tribus (all wood version) ? I am interessted by this blade but I can't find feedback about it, it seems very unpopular. Nittaku put it in the same category as the Kasumi basic, Latika and Latika light. Plus it is made in Japan, so I believe with high quality as other Nittaku blades. Thank you if you can share any feedback.

Hi Romson,
it's now some monthts that I use Tribus combined with Bluestorm PRO (both sides) and it's amazing the feeling and the control you can have! It's not so fast, but fast enough. The balls comes very spinny both in service as also in top/chop movements! It's easy to use, very much feeling on hand with relativ low vibrations. The feel (my way to understand the blade) is like a wood blade if you play slow til 60% of speed, after this, if you push more energy into the strokes, the blade seems then like a tipical carbon blade with speed and some gears in order to manage both speed and spin! Good feeling by blocking.
I was the first in our club to use it, meanwhlie we are 4 players with it and we are all happy!
One point is weak today: the blade is no more in production, but someone in Europe has it in stock or you can take it from second hand.
I can only invite you to spend this bugs and test it (it's cheap in relation to other blades (less 80€) and it's made in Japan!).
You will love it!!!
