Help choosing backhand rubber

Hello everyone!

I'm looking to build a cpen racket for fun to see how it's like playing penhold. I love xu xin and want to try out the style that got me into the sport!

I've decided to buy a fake dynasty carbon blade from aliexpress, just for the looks and an original blue sponge provincial skyline 2 for the forehand. I've played the normal tg2 and I'm confident about that choice.

At shakehand, I have a reasonably strong backhand, good consistency and spin. Generally I play with soft rubbers with a lot of grip, low sensitivity to spin and medium to low throw, like the 05fx and nowadays the bluestorm z3.

I want to get a rubber that is decent for rpb, lasts a long time and has similar properties to the z3. I don't want much catapult though because I want to have full control of my progress and have linear and predictable power from the rubber.

My mind went to the dhs hurricane 3-50, 37 or 35 degrees. It has the sponge from the tinarc and the top sheet of the hurricane 3. From what I've heard it has a long medium throw, good speed and spin, but have found nothing regarding the feeling, does anyone know what it feels like to play?

Just keep in mind that I care about budget since I just want the racket for fun, hence why I chose a cheap blade and rubbers. (And yes the skyline was pricy, but it's durable as heck, I don't think I'll ever change it.)

If you want control, there are so many choices. You say you don’t want catapult effects, I assume you play passive on RPB?

In that case any rubbers that aren’t sensitive to incoming spin, good at blocking and not too hard will suit:

Xiom Vega X or Pro

I really liked a super hard backhand rubber or soft (42 degree). With rpb i hated medium hard rubbers, didn't give any support or comfort. I'd say KTL rapid speed sound works for a low budget. Harder rubbers work great aswel, 40d commercial Dhs h3 neo is very easy. It just decents on the balance what you like, as weight doesn't matter too much i.m.o. when penhold.

maybe consider one of the tinarcs, they are quite cheap and decent in my opinion. Don't know much abt goldarc tho, anyone can brief me on that?

Goldarc 5 is quite good. It's made by ESN, kinda like a Vega, but not quite at that performance.

how would you diffrentiate between goldarc and tinarc? what are the differences.

I've never tried Tinarc, but Gold is better than Tin, right? Goldarc is made in germany, and really is just DHs branded.

I think Tinarc was made by DHS as a softer and more basic series than Hurricane.

Gold Ark 8 is a very fast and tenacious ESN rubber, but not durable. Gold Ark 5 is 1,5-2 times inferior in everything. This is good for blocking, but not for spinning - no grip.
