A few friends of mine are on the UIUC (University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign) TT team (https://illinois.campuslabs.com/engage/organization/illinitabletennisclub). The team did quite well in the regionals a few weeks ago, and now they’re ready to go to the nationals (http://www.nctta.org/champs/2023/index.html). However the university told them that they aren’t not funding the trip to the nationals, so if the team wants to go they’ll have to pay for themselves (the university used to covers half of the cost, the rest is out of pocket from the team members). So now they’re trying to raise $3000, which will cover half the cost for the team to go, this will include their plane tickets, hotel, registration, and etc. the details can be found on this page here (https://gofund.me/2a150f91).
