how easy would it be for someone using skyline 3 to transition to 2, and what noticable differences are there between the two?

The biggest difference to me is that it is easier to control the spin and ball flight with Skyline 2. The skilled player can generate a lot spin but also significantly less spin when needed, fly the ball high, fly it low etc. For the not so artistic and creative player Skyline 2 will probably feel very unstable with misses in low net and long without any clue how it happened. Skyline 2 is a specialist rubber.
