How to repair a damaged blade!!

Hello, I wonder if there is any way to repair my demage on my blade.
What kind of wood should I glue on the damaged part?

I would recommend finding a wood worker that specializes in instruments such as guitars, violins etc. They would have the veneers necessary to mend your blade. If you can't find anything like that you could try getting some wood putty and see if that works, but it's tough when you've completely lost the section of veneer. Normally if the damage splits the veneer I can get some wood glue and glue it back down, but it's pretty tough. I recommend getting some foam edgetape in the future as it seems that you hit the edges quite a lot causing this type of damage.
