I am not sure if this has already been shared by anyone else. :)
I am sharing this simply as a way to decorate the racket and make it look more attractive.
First, you need to purchase "Gold Finger" high-temperature tape; images and specific material details are shown here.

(Polyimide Kapton Tape
High‑temperature resistant & insulated
Acid‑alkali resistant, suitable for tin soldering
Residue‑free after peeling, ideal for painting baking
Temperature Resistance: 300°C)

Please ensure its width is greater than 1.5 cm.

Then, peel off the tape, apply it, and trim off the excess. Please peel the tape off quickly; otherwise, it will leave unsightly vertical streaks.

Use a lighter to heat it evenly, and the tape will adhere firmly to the label!
(Since I currently lack a lighter, I won't demonstrate this step, but it is crucial!)

You need to prepare a sharp small knife and carefully cut along the silver edge of the tape. The more carefully you perform this step, the more realistic the final result will be.

Congratulations on getting a "Gold Label" Fan Zhendong!

Following the same method, you’ve acquired quite a few Butterfly blades from the Gold Label series!

Give it a try!

what is the point of doing this may i ask?
All meaning is given by ourselves. I simply love the gold label’s look but don’t want to pay the steep premium for an official gold-label blade.

(Actually, I do own a genuine Gold Label Viscaria. It cost me a fortune, and I’m afraid of scratching it, so I only keep it as a collectible.)
I never hide that I modified this one myself. It’s just a hobby to please myself, not vanity at all.
Besides, many blade models don’t even come with an official gold-label variant. Making one DIY-style on my own feels pretty cool, doesn’t it?

I also make custom end logos with other patterns I like to swap out the original ones.

Why not ! It's a free world and making something a bit more personal is a great hobby. 😇
Personally I hate metal labels at the end of the grip if they are not recessed perfectly because I like to stand my blades up to let the rubbers dry properly after a clean.

Can you make a tutorial to make custom end logos too?
I want to upgrade my An Jaehyun blade with a custom emblem if possible.
Sure. I replaced the icon of Lin Gaoyuan ALC with that of his own brand "Yuanjian". I also replaced the photo of Ma Long below the VIS.
Replacing the handle is a bit more difficult. Especially the handle of Butterfly, which is hard to remove. Unlike the handle of Tibhar, which may become loose with just a knock sometimes.
I'll find some time to make a tutorial and mention you.

is there a similar resistant tape but with clear color? That would be useful for protecting the stupid lenses on modern blades, that get erased with the hand.
Are you looking for TPU transparent tape? This kind of tape has inherent toughness, elasticity and high transparency.

Reminds me of the following news.

[Truth Will Out] Chinese Mainland knockoff brand "Qiaodan" sues Michael Jordan, seeking over one million yuan in economic damages
https://businessfocus.io/article/29216/真的假不了-內地山寨品牌-喬丹-告michael-jordan-索逾百萬元經濟損失
Haha, I know about this news.
But the nature of these two things is completely different. Back then, Qiaodan Sports registered the trademark on a large - scale commercial basis to make a profit, which led to years of legal battles. What I do is just a table - tennis enthusiast modifying the end logo of a racket by myself. It's purely a personal hobby. I don't produce or sell anything, so there's absolutely no issue of commercial infringement. I'm just sharing the joy of DIY.

more $$$ when reselling 😂
If I plan to resell the racket, it’s totally reasonable to charge a small fee for this handmade decorative upgrade, and there’s a clear line here. However, anyone who deliberately lies and claims this homemade logo is an official factory genuine one to jack up the price and cheat buyers is acting unethically — that’s their own fault, not an issue with DIY itself. People who actually want to counterfeit for profit would just buy pre-made fake parts instead of making them by hand..
