Hi,

I am an intermediate two-winged penhold player looking to upgrade from my current setup:
Yinhe Big Dipper V (FH)
Nittaku Fastarc G-1 (BH)
Palio Energy 03 (CP)

I am currently quite pleased with the rubber selection, and it fits my needs quite well. However, after developing ever since buying the blade long ago, I found the rebound to be quite lacking, especially for blocks. I am now looking to upgrade my blade to the next level, and I find that in the pro scene, you can group blades into two categories:

Inner Carbon: Butterfly Innerforce, DHS Long 5, Stiga Cybershape Carbon, etc.
Outer Carbon: Butterfly Viscaria, Zhang Jike ALC, etc.

I think as to not shoot myself in the foot too much, I believe an outer carbon blade is too much of a jump from what I am used to with the Palio Energy 03 (CMIIW). Thus, I am looking to upgrade to a blade that has good rebound and power while also still having somewhat of a flex. Though, since I am just a hobby player, I don't really want to splurge that much. My question is this:

What blade can I buy that is similar to the Innerforce for a fraction of the price? And can you give alternatives in ascending order of price/similarity?

I have heard of blades such as the Yinhe Pro-01, Pro-05, V-14, DHS PG5, etc. My brother bought a Nittaku Septear Inner for himself, which I quite like and is something I am also thinking about. Though, it is hard to gain a comparative judgement from individual reviews of each blade. What would be your recommendation? Thanks

Give SWORD VSea Carbon a try. Super stable blade with large sweet spot. I tested it and compared it with my Dima Innerforce and find it just slightly slower, so it might sit quite well within the speed of the standard Innerforce ALC.
