is 2.0mm spectol good for chopping?

Is 2.0mm sponge on spectol too much for chopping? Thanks

I find it VERY hard to chop BackHand with consistency even in 1.6mm!
But if you have the "hand" you might be able to chop even with T05H max! Maybe you should check Victas Spinpips D3

Hi, I see some in megapsin Super spin pip chop (I assume it is the same?) .3 to .6 that is on sale. I never use something this thin on a short pip, can you tell me how it play? Thanks

Spectol 2mm is a lot bounchier than you would expect. You need close to perfect timing. Going down to 1.3 or 1.6 mm is better for it. I've used S1 2mm on a spinlord defender 2 and it just goes flying off a lot of the time.

This (Super spin pip chop) is discontinued and is not a Spectol. Even if you like it, as it is easier to be used for chopping, when the store runs out of this, you won't be able to find the same to replace it on your bat. Check if the Super SpinChop 2 (II) is available and if it is then chose this. It is the same as the Victas Spinpips D3. FYI the TSP brand exists now only through Victas label and some of TSP products are not produced any more, and only some are produced under the Victas label

Got it... you are the third person suggest this rubber over spectol. I will probably buy one and one spectol and see how it work out for me. Thanks.

Thanks. it just happened I had a 2.0 spectol laying around... but I will possibly get a 1.3 instead. I have used 1.3mm killer, everything is good, it would be perfect if I can top spin a little when I have a killer shot oppotunity. that's why I was wondering spectol is a good choice since the pip is shorter. Thanks.
