Ease of use on h8-80 is better if boosted, but it has less ball quality than 09c.on the backhand
definitely harder to use than d09c. It is tackier, less rebound, less throw angleon the backhand
Same even as heavily boosted like 2 times?definitely harder to use than d09c. It is tackier, less rebound, less throw angle
Yes, even with booster its not easySame even as heavily boosted like 2 times?
If you want something cheap and effective on bh, I recommend boosting Big Dipper H38 and using it on bh.Same even as heavily boosted like 2 times?
I can second this. Not only is the sponge fragile and extremely prone to tearing, but it also doesn't benefit too much from boosting in my experience. The normal Orange/Blue sponges of DHS are super-dense and their their feeling/ease-of-use improves significantly after boosting, which is not the case for H8-80. Sure, the sponge becomes slightly mushier and perhaps very slightly faster on lower gears, but that's pretty much it. The sponge barely curves in reaction to booster, so the boosting process doesn't even add that much topsheet tension.I have been told by some pros not to boost 8-80. I was told this after my rubber disintegrated after I tried to boost it.
