Is Nittaku Acoustic 5 Ply Allwood still worth it this 2025?

but it costs 3x or 4x a yasaka or other name-brand five ply wood, and you won't play any better with acoustic than with a $30 - 40 blade.
Agree. It won't feel the same, though, and that might make you prefer one over the other. I find Acoustic has a more precise feel. More solid, less non-specific buzzing. There are other, cheaper 5 plies I prefer (Virtuoso, Korbel), but Acoustic is really good.

I just came back from another session of 3 hours training. I started with my Nittaku Acoustic Inner Carbon and later on I switched to my Harimoto Inner ALC. I feel that the Nittaku is very soft and not so punchy like the Harimoto ALC, but I can feel the topspins very much with the Nittakun than the ALC. I would like to combine these 2 characteristics in one single blade where I have that speed like the Harimoto ALC and the response like the Nittaku Acoustic.
