I believe Kong retired before the speed glue ban. I also believe that he used Avalox P-500 for a while and then Butterfly made him the Kong Linghui blade. I believe he at some point was using a special version of this where there was carbon on the backhand side for a while. Not really sure though. Don't know what rubbers but don't all the Chinese team use Hurricane III or Skyline III, and back then Speed Glued Hurricane was supposed to be amazing. No idea about the backhand rubber either.

It is very impressing to see how far Ma Long has progressed, and the sport with him. The game is totally different, just six years later.
