I think the biggest ST handle I ever used was the Gewo Zoom Pro. Larger than my SPWs. Its too bad they don't make the Stiga Peter style straight handle, larger than the current Classic style straight handle and more comfy for me. I think the largest flared handle I ever saw was the Stiga Alser style, predecessor to the Legend style handle
None of them come close to this beast 😅

Large hands here and yes Stiga Legend is my favorite, unfortunately out of production :(
You can also check out the Andro Treiber series, as you can see they publish the measurements and for the flared version they are 100x35x26mm:

The Stiga Legend handle is 37 mm at the bottom
The Stiga Master handle is 35 mm at the bottom

The Xiom TMXi Pro blade I use has a fantastic flared handle which is both several mm longer and thicker than the standard shapes. Sanwei blades (I've tried both 75 outer and inner alc) are the only other ones I know which also have longer and more strongly flared handles.
Sanwei 75 inner does have a slightly longer handle than average but it feels a bit thin. Like Stiga master.
5mm too much. 2 would be more than enough
Maybe so. But better safe than sorry! 😄

Thanks for posting this. The ST measurement looks like a misprint, however, that would be massive. Most ST handles are like 28x23mm. Anyone play with a ST Treiber and can let us know how it is?

Hey folks,

I have large hands and currently have a FL handle paddle. I have notice a few folk in the club have straight handles, and although I did not have a chance to play with a ST handle, they looked like they're a tad bit longer? Was wondering if they are more comfortable to play with for folks like myself that have large hands (6'5 tall for reference, not sure what my hand dimension is lol)?

I've been eyeing a sweet nittaky acoustic blade but I don't want to buy it just because my EJ is kicking in haha

Thank you,
Nik
I have large hands and for me the FL handle gets the racket way too locked in the hand. For straight I prefer a bit thicker, I use a Yasaka Falck W7 a bit thicker and longer, but also like the so called anatomic of Donic which also fits my hands, Persson Powerplay and also Waldner Offensive Limited which also have longer handles both of them. I also like the paddle a bit loose in my hands.

This annoys me too.
My solution is to start a big handle database. Since I am a White belt EJ, in infancy, I can only share a few blades Ive personally handled with LG handles for full size men.
1. Yasaka Masamune ST: God's own handle, although it is NOT long.
2. Tibhar stratus power wood ST. Burly

I've seen gewo in FL that look promising but have never held the ST
Who else can add any other blades?
Do you have the dimensions of the TSPW ST handle size?

I know some folks with large hands who still prefer the FL handle but they sand the ends (the most flared part) down a little to give a bit more comfort in the hand. Otherwise the flare kind of sticks into the palm. With just a little bit of sanding it works well. Just an observation that may be useful!
Hello I have large hands - flared are to short for me an d works mostly for inclined fh. For me some movements become restricted. There are different straight and anatomic grips that not all fit or are adequate for large hands. Of course your playing style might be affected by the handle and one uusually have to use the bat for time to see if it works. I found Waldners old offensive anatomic the best I tested for my palms. The straight for that racket is also good. Yasaka has wide straight grip. There are of course other grips and as said firsy borrow if you can. Ttgear has a decent descrpion of different handles. Observe that not all handles are necessarily the same for a producer. I think though a lot of handles are made for smaller players.

I'll add my experience to this suggestion. I'm big at 6'3" and too many pounds. I have large hands but prefer Flared handles. I have tried many blades I liked if it were not for their tiny handles. The Xiom TMXi Pro has the single best Flared handle for my hand that I have ever tried. The regular TMXi is also good but the Pro version is slightly longer in the handle.

Agree on this, I am also a TMXi Pro user. The FL handle is big and chunky, perfect for large hands. Very comfortable and balances out the weight of the blade
