Lighting for Venue

Hi,

I need some advice on what lights to get to light up my table tennis hall. I want to light up the hall as best as possible, what lights would you recommend? Does anyone have any experience with this?

Use LEDs. They can be more expensive (not necessary) but less problem with them. Be sure that the lights are warm and not quiver (or whatever, I don't no what is it in english when the light isn't 'analog' but 'digital'.)

In world events, they have 1000lux, otherwise, 300-600lux should be good enough for you.
It all depends on how big your hall is and how high your ceiling is.
Also, you need to take into consideration where your tables are/facing. So the light won't be in the eyes of the player.

In my club, we use a communal sports centre (for basketball/badminton)
Certain tables positions/direction will cause problems
