Loki RXTON 9 new sponge.

[Haito]

I played LAC without any boost until a quite decent level. But the discussion makes want to try it boosted on my current blade. It's been almost 2 years I did play with a LAC.

Do it. That being said, worth remembering its going away.

Exactly the same answer i got hahahaha

Really rxton 7 is not gonna stay??

TBH, Rxton 1-5, I do not care much, but 7 was quite ok. LAC as well. I think the new tech is just gonna allow better rubber in the same market bracket so...

[Haito]

Also the other thing, I suspect that R9 is not made in the same factory as other rubbers they sell. The new sponges are very particular. The only rubbers that stay are those that have striped sponges and pimples...

Am I crazy to think that they are in fact getting rid of whatever was made in the old factory?

[mattlamperouge]

Its all good As long as they can produce equal or better quality rubbers while keeping a good price/performance ratio.
Looking forward to 2027

So.. `kiri 1 3 5 mp lp sp,and rxton 9 and rxton 9 neo keep` will stay, all other rubbers are going away.

This all sounds a total mixture of very little true knowledge and total speculation. It started with a guy in Poland hearing rumours about this and that not being continued and now it is snowballing.
Personally I believe nothing and actually have pretty much everything i need from Loki...........................maybe a free T-shirt ??? 😄

What are mp, LP, sp rubber ? Sad for R7, I ordered one thinking it might replace my H8-80 for cheaper. I guess I am gonna focus the test on r9 37 then. And I can keep the h8-80. Or just buy 10 R7, until they release the replacement.

I for one do not mind this development. Loki's lineup is a clusterfuck atm and only slightly more understandable than Sanwei's, and their new stuff is pretty much universally better than the old stuff.

If they want to start competing with something like DHS or 729, they need a big change, not just minor tweaks.
