Ma Long Serve Pendelum or Reverse?

Does a long make a reverse serve or is it a normal pendulum serve?

I've watched some videos but I can barely see where Ma Long hits the ball

I would guess he can do both depending on what he wants to do, handedness of his opponent and so on.

His usual is Normal Pendulum. Changes it at times against lefties, but mostly does pendulum.

Watch his WC semi final victory over WCQ and final V Lin Gaoyuan, both lefties.
He throws in some RP in those games to great effect but as Exotic says, it's regular Pendulum against most players

okay, because ma long makes a movement after the meeting point that looks like a reverse pendulum serve.

Does he want it to look like a reverse pendulum? Or should the movement hide what spin the ball has

He's not trying to make it look like rev pen. It looks more like deception to disguise the spin.
But sometimes it's just the racket follow through as he puts the body movement into the serve.
There's a few serve training vids on yt.
