Mantra Pro M vs. DNA Hybrid M?

Can anyone compare the 2 rubbers? Which is faster, more control, spinnier?

It's similar to other hybrids such as Bluegrip S1, Bluestar A3, Vega Pro/Asia Hybrid, and Hybrid MK. Like DNA Hybrid M, they are all produced by ESN.

Funny, when I look at the back of the packaging, it says that DNA Hybrid is faster and Mantra Pro is spinnier and more control.

Indeed. It's hard to trust manufacturer stats on their rubbers and blades. We need standardized objective measurements.

I tried both rubbers tonight. You are right. DNA Hybrid was a little slower with more control. Mantra Pro had a little more kick to it. I felt more comfortable with DNA Hybrid M.

I never trust the manufacturer's rating of speed, spin and control. It seems that most manufacturers just pull those numbers out of thin air.
