Hs anyone used mod podge to glue rubbers? If so, how did it work out for you when applying/removing

I have! It was... not the best experience. It is fine in all the applying stages, dries fairly quick, and sticks well enough. But when it comes to removing it, the leftover glue is a hassle to clean up.
