Hey guys I've been using my Timo Boll ALC for a while now and I need a good backup blade. My current backup is a 3-year old Stiga Clipper and it just is ridiculously heavy and a pain to use. I've been thinking of getting a new one as backup, or using the new one and using my ALC as backup.

The paddles I'm eyeing right now is the Stiga Emerald, Rosewood, and ZJK super ZLC. But this list is just preliminary.

Right now I'm using the Timo Boll ALC with Tenergy 80 on forehand and Donic Bluefire M2 on the backhand. I'm also thinking of switching my backhand to Tenergy 05-FX. I prefer attack on the forehand and spinny on the backhand.

Do you guys know any good paddle/rubber combinations matching this description? Thanks

- those paddles you are talking are really fast blades, jumping from an alc to zlc and having a diffrent rubber set up means "big adjustments"

Oh I see but what if I have the same rubbers on the ZJK super ZLC for example, as the ones on my ALC. What's the difference between these two paddles? So if I want a backup it should just be 2 of the same blade then?

Yes 2 of the same blade, stay with the same rubber you are using on alc..so that adjustment wouldnt be that big and take note - power speed control and spin/dwell time. The stability and ball feel is much better on a szlc due to the finer layers of zylon and carbon, so speed and control is a notch better.

T80 would be fine on a szlc.. but the m2 i cant tell i havnt used that rubber yet.
