Need help finding a backhand rubber that is as good or better than fastarc g1

My backhand rubber is the Nittaku Fastarc G1, great and i really like it but when i first glued it a few months ago it quickly shrunk at the sides and Im also playing a tournament in a few weeks so now im thingking it might be a downside as the ball might hit the parts where there is no longer rubber. Im trying to find a bh rubber like the fastarc or something better.

Don't change before the tournament and if you do, get the same.
If you find it quickly shrinking (I guess bits come off at the edge?) try to get no stretch on the rubber when glueing. The added tension might be what's killing the sides quickly.

If you want to find something better, what's the issue you have with the rubber that might need improvement? Because better is different for everyone.

Dont really have issues abt it maybe there's just an upgrade like something with more spin and grip
Sure, but that's bound to come at the expense of control and short game. G1 is quite good at both those things, so unless you have problems with it you will probably gain more spin and grip just by staying with it

G1 is pretty good, if you want something better you can try Stiga Mantra Pro M.

If you glue and cut your rubber try not to take it off. Most will get smaller and you will have the same demons like now. Regluing doesn't help you. So just glue, stick, cut, use until need to change. (unless you know what you are doing)
Mantra Pro M is pretty much glue and use until dead rubber and it's like a well boosted G1.

To be honest, I'm not even really sure. Maybe something with more grip, spin and control
Hard to find something that is better in every aspect. Usually if you gain some you lose some.
Only choice is if more grip equals control for you.
Hybrids are bad durability wise if you are concerned about that. Atleast the amount of tack they have goes away fast in ESN Rubbers.
The Hammond Z2 and Dignics 05 I play rn feel quite soft for their hardness and offer good grip.

More control than Fastarc G-1 it's difficult to get.

Could I ask what's the thickness sponge are you using for Fastarc G-1?

More grip, spin and control look could you try how it goes to use your FH as BH to know if you can manage Chinese grippy/tacky/sticky rubbers for FH.

You're right, im good with losing a few aspects for other. The most important for me is just the grip and durability. Do those have good durability? Except the D05, already know thats great but too expensive

from what i remember, i think 2.1

@Walalang I really just suggest keeping the fastarc and improving your stroke to make sure everything goes into the middle. If not, just get another G1 and not stretch it when gluing it, like what @Tyce said. G1 is an EXTREMELY good at control, speed, spin, and control. Usually if a player doesn't like it it's them, not G1.
