On the pg5x I did a slight sand on the edges of the bottom of the blade. I also took about a 1-2 mm of the top of the blade so it wasn't so head heavy - it worked. 😊The handle I think is hollow that's why a bit head heavy. I think the head is slightly (taller) larger than the average blade.
Yeah agreed thats what i would have done too but felt lazy haha you are indeed exactly right about your feeling :)

The reality of the matter is that you must eventually buy all of these blades, or borrow them from someone for a longer period, and test them for at least a few weeks to get an idea. Asking "is X good" is almost pointless, especially when you don't really seem to know what you like or want.

I’ve read through your questions/comments, and here’s my summary to help you decide:

  • DHS handles are usually designed for the smaller hands of Asian players. However, I find the Fangbo B2X handle noticeably thicker than most other DHS blades, so I think European players should still be able to grip it comfortably.
  • DHS handles are generally more rounded, and personally I feel this limits my forehand/backhand transition compared to the slightly more rectangular Butterfly handles. My playing style is two-winged (active on both FH and BH).
  • DHS blades tend to be somewhat head-heavy, but the B2X is better in this regard, and the 301/301X are even better balanced than the B2X. This is beneficial for backhand play.
  • About the feel of the B2X: I find it rather stiff, not as soft as the Q/W series. The ball rebounds quickly with good power. I don’t really feel much vibration or the limba wood dwell because the core is quite thick. To me, it feels more like a Butterfly outer carbon blade than a typical DHS blade. The only clear advantage I can feel is that it is less head-heavy than most DHS blades.

Ahh okay okay, yeah i live in asia and i cant find a shop where i can test it out, the options of DHS here is quite limited. If i was to compare Yinhe 970xx which one would be better, ive heard that yinhe has better qc and feels more premium / solid in the budget end

I haven’t played with Yinhe blades, so I can’t really give you advice on them. But personally, I would never seriously consider blades from Yinhe, Loki, or similar brands. To me, only Butterfly and DHS have truly unique characteristics that are worth paying for, while most other brands are mainly trying to recreate the feel of blades and rubbers from those two companies.

I dont know about this. Well rubber wise i will go for the mainstream brands but blade wise i dont really have a problem with what they are trying to recreate, as long the build is sturdy, premium finished feel i don't have any problem with it.
