BTW played for years with G-1 on BH. Nuzn 48 feels harder and stickier. More catapult, less linear... as expected.
ok Glad I didn't end up buying that rubber then. I got it recommended even though I already had found g1 "hard"
when you say less linear does that mean NUZN 48 gives you inconsistent speed boost ?

So after 10+ hours of play, pretty happy with Nuzn 48 on my BH. As mentioned before, slightly faster and undeniably bouncier and less linear than G-1. Feels really like a 48 hardness. Very grippy and does not seem to degrade too quickly.

When it comes to the arc, I feel Nuzn 48 behaves pretty differently than G-1. I'd say it's globally medium-high, but different depending on whether you're doing an active or a passive shot. Arc feels considerably higher than G-1 on passive blocks for instance, but flicks, loops and drives seem to have a lower trajectory. Top sheet is also more spin sensitive than G-1, making serve returns a bit more challenging.

I have quite a bit of power on both sides and it took me some time to get used to the stronger catapult of Nuzn 48 vs my usual Nittaku rubbers. Going all in can generate monster shots, but of course at the price of control. If I want to focus on spin generation or just open with a safer, slower loop, I really need to stay relaxed and be careful about the level of energy I put in the ball.

I played with a Xiom Omega VII Pro in BH for a few months and I feel quite a bit of similarities with Nuzn 48, with Nuzn 48 being slightly more spin sensitive and having a higher arc on passive shots.

Alhtough I globally like Nuzn 48, it's likely I'll go back to C-1 when the Nuzn 48 wears out - BH block is one of my main shots and I miss a bit the added control of a 45 degrees rubber and the outstanding spin insensitivity I had with C-1

We have pretty similar setups down to the rubbers. I sometimes switch my Nuzn 50 with the C-1 during a match if I feel tired or I want to setup with more spin on the BH with the 50. I feel like if I were to put the 48 on my BH, then I'd lose some of that versatility.
