I always felt that regluing new rubber on a used paddle makes the paddle not as good as the first set of rubbers glued to it the furts glue. I know some paddles have a good veneer type of finish where the wood is not effected and maybe not so bad with regluing but some paddles are bare balsa and when you reglue it seems they are never the same as new with the first rubber. Is this true or is it just me. I know if you reglue within a few weeks its not so bad but if you play with it for a long time it seems the balsa wood or whatever takes in the humidity and is never the same as new. AM i getting this experience becasue the paddle is old or am i loosing some of the wood touch from regluing or is the is it the glue or am i just imagining things and you can just reglue as much as you want.
